INSTRUCTOR

Sensei Bob Morton is the Dojo Headmaster. He is involved with all students and provides direct instruction. Sensei Morton's martial arts instructor and Soke is Dr. Rod Sacharnoski, Dai-Soke, 10th Dan.

Sensei Morton has been studying Martial Arts since 1981, when he started training in Jujutsu. During his early years he studied several different styles including Kyokushinkai and Tae Kwon Do, where he was on an Amateur Full Contact Karate Team. With a dedicated martial arts spirit, Sensei Morton developed his well-rounded skills obtaining black belts in Isshin-ryu Karate, Jujutsu and Kobudo. With a passion for the traditional and authentic arts, Sensei Morton joined the world renowned Juko-Kai in the late 90’s and currently holds masters level ranking in the Tetsuken-ryu systems of Okinawan Karate and Kobudo as well as Japanese Jujutsu and sword. Additionally, he is a certified Shihan and holds master level ranking in Shorin-ryu Karate and Isshin-ryu Karate.

Outside of the dojo, Sensei Morton has been an international business consultant, with a primary emphasis in Asia. A Summa Cum Laude graduate in Business Management from a local university, he served over 10 years in various engineering and management positions for one of the largest companies in the world. He currently has a senior management position with a local manufacturing company.
